The fine print

PRIVACY

Short version: it's a club app. Your data stays in the club.

What this is

LycraLords is a private ride-planning app for a local cycling club. It's run by the club, for the club — there's no company behind it, no ads, and no selling of anything to anyone.

What we collect

Your account: name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash — we can't read it), and optionally a nickname, bio, discipline, phone number, and a profile photo or custom avatar.

What you post: rides, routes, RSVPs, votes, comments, stickers, gear, attendance, and photos/videos you add to Memories (including any location text and member tags you attach).

That's it. No analytics trackers, no advertising identifiers, no location tracking — ride locations are only whatever text and route files members type or upload.

How it's used

To run the club: showing rides and profiles to other signed-in members, sending notifications you've enabled (ride sign-ups, schedule changes) by push, email, or text.

Your email address is a login credential only — it is never shown to other members.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database and media storage) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Photos and videos posted to Memories are stored at unlisted public URLs — anyone with an exact link could view a file, so don't post anything you wouldn't share outside the club.

Who can see it

Only signed-in club members can see the app's content. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, ever. Service providers (Supabase, Vercel, and — if enabled — email/SMS delivery) process data solely to run the app.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account any time from Settings → Danger zone, in the app or on the web. This removes your profile, RSVPs, votes, comments, gear, uploaded media, and rides you led. It's immediate and irreversible.

Questions

Talk to the club admin (you know who he is — he's the one who always plans the coffee stops).
